Creating a Connect:Direct Netmap Cross-Reference

You can reuse nodes for a netmap or several netmaps by setting up a cross reference so you don't have to create a new node for each Connect:Direct Server Adapter.

About this task

To create a new netmap cross reference:

Procedure

  1. From the C:D Netmaps menu, select C:D Netmap X-REF.
  2. In the Create or Modify Netmap Cross Reference pane, click Go!. The Create Cross Reference page appears.
    Field Value to Enter Description
    C:D Netmap Name Select the Connect:Direct netmap name that you created in Creating Sterling Connect:Direct® Netmaps. Select the Connect:Direct Netmap name. Required.
    Add Node Click the plus sign to add a Node Name to the cross-reference. A new window appears, allowing you to select the Connect:Direct Node Name(s).

    Select the node name that you created Creating Sterling Connect:Direct Netmaps .

    		  
  3. Click Next. The Confirm page appears.
  4. Review your configuration settings and click Finish.
