Procedure

  1. In the Outbound Push Request section, of the AS4 outbound two-way push pull exchange profile, click Configure corresponding to the Connection Settings.
  2. On the Configure Connection Settings screen, complete the following steps:
    Field Description

    Authentication

Click Select to select the users who can send the push request and pull request. To add the user subjects click Add new credentials
Remember: You can add a user subject on the Organization Credentials (Security > Organization Credentials) page.

    Encryption

Select the certificate that is used to encrypt the push request.

Select AS4 receiver to which ebMS Receipt Signal messages are sent by Trading Partner

If receipt settings are configured in the Reception Awareness section of the conformance policy that is associated with the exchange profile, from the ebMS Receipt Processing Receiver, select the AS4 receiver where the trading partner can send the receipt.

This field is not displayed if you have specified synchronous receipt in the conformance policy, and configured a two-way push pull exchange profile using the conformance policy. The trading partner sends the receipt synchronously for the push part of the exchange and therefore a separate receiver is not required. For the pull part of the exchange, AS4 Microservice sends an asynchronous receipt. If asynchronous receipt is configured, receipts are sent asynchronously for both push and pull exchanges.

Select AS4 receiver to which ebMS Error Signal messages are sent by Trading Partner

If error settings are configured in the Error Handling section of the conformance policy that is associated with the exchange profile, from the ebMS Error Processing Receiver, select the AS4 receiver where the trading partner can send the error message.

This field is not displayed if you have specified sending error messages synchronously in the conformance policy, and configured a two-way push pull exchange profile using the conformance policy. The trading partner sends the error message synchronously for the push part of the exchange and therefore a separate receiver is not required. For the pull part of the exchange, AS4 Microservice sends the error message asynchronously. If asynchronous error message is configured, error messages are sent asynchronously for both push and pull exchanges.

  3. Click OK to save the connection settings.
