Removing custom visibility event subscriptions

You can remove a custom visibility event subscription if it no longer meets your business requirements. When a subscription is removed, the third-party applications that are associated with the subscription can no longer receive exchange event messages.

About this task

Important: Removing a visibility event subscription does not remove the associated queue that was created on WebSphere® MQ when the subscription was created. You can remove such queues only with WebSphere MQ.

Procedure

To remove a visibility event subscription:

  1. Log in as a user with the permissions to manage visibility event subscriptions.
  2. Click Systems Management > Visibility Event Subscriptions.
  3. On the Visibility Event Subscriptions page, click name of the visibility event subscription that you want to remove.
  4. On the detailed view page for that visibility event subscription, click Remove.
  5. Click OK.
