About this task
Configure the MEIG Messaging Config adapter with the credentials that are used to connect to the messaging service provider. All of the information about the messaging service is provided by the AS4 Microservice administrator.
The Business Document Receiver, Business Document Sender, and Visibility Events Sender adapters use this adapter to connect to the messaging service provider. This adapter must be configured before the Business Document Receiver, Business Document Sender, and Visibility Event adapters. You must be logged in to theSterling B2B Integrator user interface with system administrator permissions to configure the adapter.
The messaging provider (WebSphere MQ or WebSphere eXtreme Scale) and AS4 Microservice must be running when you configure the adapter or the test configuration step fails. The messaging provider configuration information that you enter for the adapter must match the messaging provider configuration information that is specified during AS4 Microservice installation. If the connection does not work, verify the information that you received from the AS4 Microservice administrator is correct.
