Logging in to the Global Mailbox management tool

Manage user permissions, virtual roots, mailboxes, and messages in the Global Mailbox management tool.

To log in to the Global Mailbox management tool:

Procedure

  1. The URL for the Login page is in the format: 
    https://hostname:9080/mailbox/admin/
    where hostname is the server name that is specified during the installation.
  2. Enter your User Name and Password.
    Important: When Global Mailbox is installed, the following default values are set:
    • User Name = admin
    • Password = password
    To secure your system, log in with these credentials the first time, then create a new User Name and Password. Delete the default values so that unauthorized users cannot access your system.
  3. Click Log In.
