Accessing Sterling File Gateway

To use Sterling File Gateway, you must first log in.

To log in to Sterling File Gateway:

Procedure

  1. Ensure that Sterling File Gateway is started and running.
  2. Open a browser window and enter the URL displayed at the end of startup.
  3. The login page for Sterling File Gateway displays.
  4. Type the default user ID (fg_sysadmin) and password (password). The default login is at an administrative level. One of your first tasks as an administrator is to change the administrative password and to register other users with other levels of permission.
    Important: For system security, change the password for fg_sysadmin immediately.
