Creating a property file

You can create and view the list of newly created property files when Sterling B2B Integrator is installed using the Docker image.

About this task

The properties are stored as a key-value pair in the property file. You can add or modify the property keys and values, as required.

The newly created or modified property files are stored and consumed from the database.

To create a property file:

Procedure

  1. Select Customization > Customization. Click the Click Here To Access link. In the Customization login screen, enter the User Name and Password and click Login.
  2. The Property File list page is displayed. By default, this page displays a blank customer_overrides.property file, which is system-generated.
    You can also create a single or multiple properties for the customer_overrides.property file or create user-defined property files.
  3. Click Create PropertyFile to create a user-defined property file.
  4. Specify the field settings:

    Field Name

    Description

    Property File Prefix

    Required. Unique name of the property file.

    Description

    Optional. Description of the property file.

  5. Click Save PropertyFile to create a new property file.
  6. Alternatively, click Browse to select an existing property file.
  7. Click Save PropertyFile. The newly added property files are displayed in the Property File list page.
