Post-installation checklist: Global Mailbox and Sterling B2B Integrator

Use the installation checklist to validate your Global Mailbox and Sterling B2B Integrator installation.

In addition to the checklist, you must validate Sterling B2B Integrator installation based on information in the Post-installation configurations.
Important: You can use the checklist to validate initial and additional node installations.

Review contents of /<install_dir>/MailboxUtilities/admin/bin (Linux) or \<install_dir>\MailboxUtilities\admin\bin (Windows) contain the following Global Mailbox utilities:
  • appConfigUtility
  • dbConfigUtility
  • dcConfigUtility
  • masterPassphrase
  • schedulerConfigUtility
  • storageConfigurator
  • storagePassphrase
   
Run appConfigUtility.sh or appConfigUtility.cmd with the --showAppConfig option to verify default configuration for Sterling B2B Integrator.    
Verify Installation Manager log entries to ensure there are no errors.
Important: You can ignore the warning messages.
Installation Manager logs are in the following directories:
  • /var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs (Linux)
  • C:\ProgramData\IBM\Installation Manager\logs or C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\IBM\Installation Manager\logs (Windows)
   
Verify if config directory with the following files is created in the shared storage locations that you specified during the installation:
  • Default storage buckets 1st_provisioned and global_mbx
  • global.properties and installinfo.properties files
   
Start Global Mailbox and Sterling B2B Integrator nodes and determine that you can access the user interface.
