Starting and accessing Sterling B2B Integrator and Global Mailbox nodes
After completing the installation, you must start Sterling B2B Integrator nodes. Starting Sterling B2B Integrator nodes starts the Global Mailbox nodes as well.
To start the Sterling B2B Integrator nodes, complete the following steps:
- Go to the \<install_dir>\install\bin directory.
Depending on your operating system, type one of the following commands:
Important: In a clustered environment, repeat the steps for all nodes.Important:
- For Linux or AIX, type ./run.sh.
- For Windows, type startWindowsService.cmd
On Windows, post Global Mailbox installation, stop GM Admin on initial node that is the first node of first Datacenter and then start the Sterling B2B Integrator. The Sterling B2B Integrator automatically starts the GM Admin.
When prompted, enter the passphrase that you specified during installation.
The startup processes run, concluding with the message, Open your Web browser to http://host:port/dashboard, where
host:portis the IP address and port number where Sterling B2B Integrator is installed. Depending on system load, it might take several minutes for the UI to be ready.
- To access Sterling B2B Integrator dashboard, type the URL in the Address field of your browser and log in with Admin user name and password.
You can access Global Mailbox management node
user interface using the URL in the format,
server_ip/hostis the IP address or host name of the server where Sterling B2B Integrator and Global Mailbox nodes are installed and
<base_port+75>is 75 added to Sterling B2B Integrator base port. For example, if the base port is 8080,Global Mailbox port is 8080+75=8155.
Access the Global Mailbox management
node user interface by using the following URL:
<server_ip/host>is the IP address or host name of the server where Sterling B2B Integrator or Global Mailbox are installed
<base_port+76>is 76 added to the Sterling B2B Integrator base port, such as if the base port is 8080, Global Mailbox is 8080+76=8156.
