Post-installation tasks for a clustered environment

If you are using a clustered environment, you must consider these additional tasks as applicable.

Table 1. Additional tasks for a clustered environment
Tasks Your Notes
Update the sandbox.cfg file for an IPv4 Address
Update the sandbox.cfg file for an IPv6 address
Configure shared file systems as document storage
Add host[port] from all the nodes to the jgroups_cluster.property.in for each node

This is applicable only if dynamic clustering is disabled.

Manage the nodes in a cluster
Services and Adapters associated with node 1 in a cluster
Configure customer overrides file with a firewall between nodes
If you have re-created a cluster using Docker, update the system_overrides.properties file from the UI.

Recreating a container with the same node number

If you delete a cluster node by deleting the container and then re-create a container with the same node number, the system_overrides.properties file is also re-created.

Also, the previously stored tuning.properties and system_overrides.properties of the node are restored.
