Preparing for Upgrading

To help ensure a trouble-free upgrade, you should complete the upgrade checklist and understand some concepts.

This is the third step in the process of upgrading Sterling B2B Integrator. The following diagram shows the upgrade steps.

The upgrade process for Sterling B2B Integrator consists of the following five steps.

The Preparing for upgrade step further has the following steps:

  1. Complete the tasks in the upgrade checklist.
  2. Save the installation files.
  3. Set up the IBM Installation Manager.
