Defining Simple Syntax Rules
You can assign simple syntax rules to steps in a business process model.
- From the Tools menu, select Rule Manager.
- Click Add.
- In the Name field,
type a name that describes the rule. For example, if you are creating choice within your process model that determines what step to take if the total amount in a purchase order is greater than or less than $10,000, you might define a rule named TotalPO.
- In the Expression field,
type the syntax, and then click OK. Following the example in step 3, the expression might be.
- Repeat these tasks until you finish defining simple syntax rules.
