Configuring Global Mailbox event notifications for IBM Control Center

IBM® Control Center uses Global Mailbox event notifications to monitor the status of Global Mailbox messages, message replication, and Sterling B2B Integrator events. You can edit the global.properties file to enable Global Mailbox event notifications for IBM Control Center.

To configure Global Mailbox event notifications for IBM Control Center:

  1. In the <shared_files_dir>/config/ directory, locate the global.properties file.
    Important: The <shared_files_dir> is the base directory that you specified during installation.
  2. Open the global.properties file in a text editor.
  3. Specify the value true for the com.ibm.mailbox.controlcenter.mbx.activities.enabled property to enable Global Mailbox event notifications for IBM Control Center.
    The default value is false:
    com.ibm.mailbox.controlcenter.mbx.activities.enabled=true
  4. Save the global.properties file.
