Create workspace distribution lists
As an administrator, you can set up workspace-level distributions lists that you can make available to specific member user types. These workspace user types can select the list in the To field of the Send files form.
Users can create personal distributions lists as well. All distribution lists respect admin settings in the Package app. This means that no matter the members listed for any distribution list, Aspera on Cloud delivers the package only to valid recipients as configured in Workspaces > Applications > Packages > Collaboration.
- Go to Workspaces and select the intended workspace. Then click Distribution lists.
- Click Create new.
- Give the distribution list a name that is unique across the organization; be sure the name is meaningful to your intended users.
- Select which user type can use the list: All Workspace members or only Workspace managers.
- Click Create.
- Click Members, then click Add members.
- Enter the user names, groups, and email addresses for this list.
- Click Add.
This distribution list is now available in the workspace you selected in step 1 for the user type that you selected in step 4.
