Configure the user login page
You can configure a splash message to communicate any information your users may need; for example, a welcome message, an upcoming maintenance window, a configuration change, and so on. You can also provide login guidance to your users by configuring the login buttons and associated instructions on the login page.
These configuration options are in addition to your ability to brand the login page with your logo and a background image.
Configure the login button and label and associated instructions on Admin > Authentication. See Configuring authentication methods for your organization for details and a procedure.
To configure the login page button labels, button instructions, button order and a splash message, do the following:
- Go to Organization > Profile and branding.
- To configure a login page splash message to your users, enter the message in the text box in the Organization > Profile and branding > Profile > Splash message field. Use Markdown to format the message as required. To delete the message, simply remove the text from the text box.
- To configure the login button labels, along with instructions (if needed) that display with the login button, go to Authentication > OAuth, or to Authentication > SAML instance > Profile.
- To configure the order of the button display on the login page, scroll to the Organization > Profile and branding > Login options area. Click the arrows or drag each button to display them in your intended order.
- Click Save.
