Configure the HA Redis backend for a tethered node cluster

If you are preparing a high-availability cluster of HSTS nodes as your tethered node, you must configure the Redis database backend to support your tethered cluster.

If you are tethering a single HSTS node to your AoC organization, skip this procedure and go to Tether your HSTS node to Aspera on Cloud.

This is step 7 in tethering a node

Before you begin step 7, be sure you have completed step 6: Create the transfer user for your tethered node.

To configure a highly-available Redis backend for an HSTS cluster, go to IBM Aspera HSTS Admin Guide. Select your HSTS software version and platform, then search for Redis backend or Redis database.
