Access your built-in node
The transfer server included in your subscription is hosted by IBM Aspera. Use this built-in transfer server to store your user workspaces, including the content they upload and share using the Files app and the packages they send and receive using the Packages app. As as admin, you can also upload content directly to this transfer server and then make that content available to your users.
Access this transfer server in Nodes and storage > Nodes.
Note: You can access this
built-in node only through Aspera Node API and Aspera FASP protocol, using any of the following:
- Aspera on Cloud web UI and Aspera Connect client
- Aspera Node API and Transfer SDK
Use an access key
Transfer server or node access credentials take the form of an access key. An access key is
composed of two parts:
- Key ID. For example, N26Y-pfC33hcsOw24keUlzSR
- Secret. For example, Yppsv_iXH5pyFBKe5cvA2nTIaXStd4NYpgjxWA0239_3
Use the access key as follows:
- To browse, add, remove, and share files and folders on this node.
- To apply network policies and configuration policies to this node.
- To create and manage folder-level access keys and client access keys.
- To manage files and folders in your users' Files and Packages apps for workspaces that are hosted on this node.
