Can't find the access credentials to your built-in node
Each Aspera on Cloud subscription includes one built-in, Aspera-managed transfer server node with storage in IBM Cloud Object Storage. The access credentials (or access key) for this transfer server are delivered to the administrator who first created the AoC organization in a digital package from Tech Support in the Packages app. It's very important to track and store these credentials securely.
To retrieve the credentials for your built-in, Aspera-managed node, do the following:
Attention: You must be the administrator who first configured the Aspera on Cloud
organization.
- Go to the Packages app. If necessary, click the app switcher
and select Packages.
- In the left-side gray panel, click My inbox.
- In the packages list, click the row of the package from IBM Aspera Tech Support called "Access key information". This package contains a text file listing the key and secret.
- Review the message included with the package.
- Right-click the text file and select Download to... .
- In the Finder or Explorer window that opens, select the location for this download.
- Click Open or Done.
- Aspera highly recommends you rename the file to make it easier to track. Track and protect the text file with the key and secret according to your local site security practices. Note that IBM Aspera does not keep a copy of the access key secret.
Note: Selecting Download to... affects only this download. To change
your default download location, open Aspera Connect from your system tray or launcher; go to
Preferences > Transfers. In the Downloads location
field, enter the default location for your downloads.
