Uninstall

Close Aspera® for desktop and follow these steps:

macOS

  1. Go to the Applications folder.
  2. Select IBM Aspera and drag it into the Trash.

Windows

  1. Go to Search from the taskbar and type Add or remove programs.
  2. Find IBM Aspera, and select Uninstall.

Linux

To uninstall Aspera for desktop, use the package manager tool (depending on the distribution you are using) to delete the application.

If you installed the .deb package, run:
$ apt-get remove ibm-aspera
