Configure a transfer proxy

Your company's network might require the usage of an IBM Aspera Proxy. Using a transfer proxy enables secure and high-speed transfers to and from highly restrictive network environments.

Ask your IT team if you are required to use a transfer proxy.

Configure a transfer proxy

  1. In the navigation bar, go to Settings > Proxies.
  2. Enable the Proxies by clicking the toggle.
    1. In the Host field, specify the hostname of the server.
    2. In the Port field, specify the port to be used.
    3. If your transfer proxy requires authentication, enable the option by clicking the Requires authentication toggle.
    4. In the Username field, specify the username that is configured on the proxy.
    5. Click Enter password, and specify the password to use.
