Adding an AoC account
Add your AoC account to use Aspera for desktop features.
To add your AoC account to Aspera for desktop, follow these steps:
- In the navigation bar, go to Accounts.
- Click Link account and select IBM Aspera on Cloud.
- Enter the following information:
- The Organization subdomain URL. The Link button must change color to confirm that the subdomain URL is correct.
- Click Link.
- Click the tile of your AoC subdomain, and then click Log in to IBM Aspera on Cloud. The application opens up a browser window that goes to your AoC login page. Enter your credentials and login.
- Go to Aspera for desktop to confirm that your AoC account is now linked to the Aspera desktop app. You must see the Packages and Files tabs.
Managing accounts
You can Edit, Reload, or Remove the AoC account.
- Go to Accounts and click the three-dot menu.
- Select the option that you want.Note: The Reload option pulls the latest information from the server to get the latest image and name for the server.
