Reset the application

It is possible to easily reset Aspera for desktop back to a clean state as it was when first installing. This option removes all of your user settings, transfer history, and any accounts that were added.

macOS

  1. In the menu bar, go to Help > Troubleshooting > Reset App Data.
  2. Click Yes to confirm and restart the application.

Windows

  1. In the menu bar, click the three-dot icon.
  2. Click Reset app data, and then Yes to confirm and restart the application.

Linux

  1. In the title bar, go to Help > Troubleshooting > Reset App Data.
  2. Click Yes to confirm and restart the application.
