Change your default download directory

By default, the files that are downloaded by Aspera for desktop are placed in your Downloads folder.

If you want to change the default download directory, then follow these steps:

1. In the navigation bar, go to Settings > Transfers.
2. Find the Automatically save files to this location option, and click Choose location and select the directory where you want to save the files.
   Note: If you turn on Ask me where to save files when downloading, you are prompted to choose a directory before each download.
