Enable Multi-Currency Service

CAUTION:

Once Multi-Currency Service> is enabled, the project's currency cannot be changed, even within Multi-Currency Service . The default currency for the project will remain the same, regardless of any changes to the Base Currency in Multi-Currency Service> .

For example, the project's default currency will remain "USD" even if the Base Currency is changed to "EUR".

Currently, Apptio supports Multi-Currency Service> with Costing & Planning and Cloudability products. All Cloudability products use Multi-Currency Service> by default, however you need to enable currency settings in Cloudability using the steps detailed in Configure Currency in Cloudability . Multi-Currency Service> is also automatically enabled for all new Costing & Planning projects that use a Gregorian calendar. For the existing Costing & Planning projects, you can manually enable Multi-Currency Service from the Edit Project Settings dialog.

Once you enable Multi-Currency Service> for a project and check-in the project settings, the currency exchange tables are automatically synchronized to match the data stored in Multi-Currency Service> tables. The base currency is also updated to match the data stored in Multi-Currency Service> . After Multi-Currency Service> is enabled, the currency exchange tables in the project are no longer editable from TBM Studio ; you can only edit these tables from the Multi-Currency Service> interface.

Note:
