Manage an on-premises Agent

Datalink (Classic) Agents are used to access data sources in the cloud or behind your company firewall, for example, IT resource utilization, customer resource management, and human resources systems. By default, an Apptio -hosted Datalink (Classic) Agent is preinstalled and can be used to configure connectors for cloud-based data. Install an additional Agent on-premises if you need to configure connectors for data sources behind your firewall. All Datalink (Classic) Agents are managed by a single Datalink (Classic) Manager.
