What is Automated Data Management

Automated Data Management is a platform service aimed at providing unified data sharing experiences across all Apptio applications for their data sharing requirements.

Eventually all Apptio products will integrate with Automated Data Management to facilitate sharing of data with other applications and to consume data from other applications. This will eliminate the need to recreate redundant data in multiple applications, to manually export data from one application in order to import into another application, to monitor the calculation queues in Costing Standard to finish before data can be pulled or pushed into other applications etc. Once the integration is over, all Apptio products should be able to seamlessly talk with each other via Automated Data Management for their data sharing needs and pull or push the data as and when it becomes available or required for the business use case.
