Summary
Use this report to view your overall data center spend across the enterprise.
This report has the following elements:
(1) KPIs: KPIs provide a high-level view of your data center spend:
- Cost YTD: This KPI shows the overall spend on data centers YTD. Spending for the current period is shown as Cost.
- Cost per kW: This KPI shows average cost per kilowatt. The secondary KPI shows the total output capacity of your data centers as Power Capacity MW.
- Cost per Square Foot: This KPI shows the average cost per square foot. The secondary KPI shows total Square Footage.
- Data Center Locations: This KPI shows your total number of data centers, regardless of filter. The secondary KPI shows Average kW Per Location.
(2) Filters: The following filters are available in this report. These filters are cumulative, and affect all data on the page, including the KPIs (with the exception of Data Center Locations):
- Name: Select the name of an individual data center to see metrics specific to that data center.
- Location: Select a location to see the metrics for all of the data centers at that location.
- Tier: Select a tier to see data center metrics for a specific tier.
(3) Data Center Spend by Cost Pool: Use this chart to view your Data Center spend per cost pool, for example Facilities & Power, Internal Labor, External Labor, and Software.
(4) Total Power Capacity and Average Data Center Cost per kW by Month: Use this chart to view the monthly power capacity of your data centers and the average cost per kilowatt.
(5) Pie Charts: View your total Data Center spend YTD by name or location, in addition to the combined occupied and available square footage of all data centers.
