Install and configure the CT - Business Units component

The Business Units module allocates costs to the business units in your enterprise.

About this task

The module has one component: CT - Business Units. When you install the component, it adds the Service Allocations Direct, Service Allocations Indirect, and Business Unit Allocation objects at the top of the model and consolidates all relevant costs from the many objects in the model. The result is that each business unit can see the total cost of the applications and services it consumes.

NOTICE

The Applications and Services Module must be installed and configured before you can install the Business Units component.

When you install the CT Apps - Business Units component, a new Business Unit Allocation group is created with four tables:

  • Business Unit Allocation (model table)
  • Business Unit Allocation Master Data
