Your organization may have spending on IT outside the control of the main IT department. This might include spending allocated to Business Process Outsourcing, operational technology, or "Shadow IT".
In your benchmark, do not include any spending which is controlled by other areas of your organization.

Q. Where do I include expenses belonging to the Telecom cost pool?
Include any expenses relating to the Telecom cost pool in Network – Transport .
Q. Are there any infrastructure benchmarking metrics for the Facilities and power , Internal services or Other cost pools?
No.
Q. How are public cloud costs accounted for in OpEx and infrastructure benchmarking metrics?
In OpEx benchmarking, public cloud costs are included in the Outside services cost pool.
In Industry benchmarking, public cloud costs are included in IT spend .
Q. Do I include contractors?
Yes.
Q. Where do I allocate business data or information subscriptions?
Allocate these to the Other cost pool.
Q. What can I do if I would like to look at different KPIs for a specific area, for example, to divide by devices rather than users?
All available KPIs are surfaced in the product.
