Period picker for line-item tables

About this task

Period picker allows us to pick/view only certain periods of a plan and hide the rest. It is useful to view only specific interest of periods or a certain time period on the table. Below are a few important notes about them.

Procedure

  • The period picker has a vertical Financial Year (FY) selector. On clicking it, two drop-downs Start Period and End Period appear. On clicking this further, a small window opens a calendar with year and periods/months selector. The year drop-down selector shows years up until the chosen FY year starting from start year of the plan.
  • The custom year can be configured to show FY details between any periods within the plan years.
  • Time period picker is applicable to Expenses tables and to graphs on Summary page.
  • If a user wants to know the expenses for the first quarter, they must select the available fiscal year from the year drop-down, Start Period as January and End Period as March. The table will show the first quarter periods from Jan-Mar with Total FY column.
  • In a multi-year plan, the period picker has different options to choose present year, next year(s) or it can be custom configured to show FY details.
  • Time period pickers can be configured to show any periods of the year within the plan years.
