Objectives

Use this report to:
  • See spend and budget KPIs (KPIbar).
  • Understand cumulative spend YTD and projected annual spend (Cost With Projection vs Full Year Budget chart).
  • Identify budget variance by Cost Pool (Budget Variance by Cost Pools chart).
  • Identify top spend and variance by IT Tower (Cost Summary chart and table).

Questions answered

You can use the information presented on this report to answer the following questions:
  • How is my spend tracking against budget so far this year?
  • Am I projected to be over or under budget for the year?
  • Which cost pools are over or under budget?
  • How much have I spent by IT Tower so far this year?
  • Where is my biggest spend? • Where is my biggest variance -- by amount and by percent?
  • What amount of variance or of percent variance is material compared to my overall IT spend?
  • Is action required to mitigate budget risk?
