How to use IBM App Connect with community connectors

IBM® Automation Explorer provides a repository of shared assets to help you automate your work. These assets include App Connect community connectors, IBM-developed App Connect connectors, and shared connectors that you can use in IBM Event Automation.

To view the published community connectors in IBM Automation Explorer, go to the App Connect Designer Connect > Applications and APIs page (previously the Catalog page) and click Browse the community connectors.

"Browse the community connectors" and Connector Development Kit links on the Catalog page

When you find a community connector that you want to use in your flows, download it, then import it into the App Connect Designer Applications and APIs page.

IBM maintains and supports IBM-developed connectors in IBM Automation Explorer. To get support for community-developed connectors, use the App Connect discussion forum on IBM Community.

If you don't see a connector that you need in IBM Automation Explorer, you can develop your own and share it with the community. Create a connector by using the Connector Development Kit, which is a component of IBM Automation Explorer. After you create and test your connector, you submit it to IBM for approval and publishing.
