Set up watsonx Code Assistant™ on IBM® Cloud and create an API key.

About this task

Before you can use watsonx Code Assistant, you must set it up on IBM Cloud and create an API key.

Procedure

  1. Open the watsonx Code Assistant view in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit as described in Opening the IBM watsonx Code Assistant view in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.
  2. To set up watsonx Code Assistant on IBM Cloud, complete the following steps:
    1. In the watsonx Code Assistant view, scroll to the section headed Use IBM Cloud.
    2. Click instructions to open Setting up your watsonx Code Assistant service in IBM Cloud and complete the instructions.
  3. To create an API key, complete the following steps:
    1. In the watsonx Code Assistant view, scroll to the section headed Use IBM Cloud.
    2. Click IBM Cloud to open API keys and complete the instructions.
