Open the IBM® watsonx Code Assistant™ view in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.

About this task

Opening the watsonx Code Assistant view enables you to use it for generating suggestions, explaining code and applications, documenting code, and generating unit tests.

Procedure

  1. Open the watsonx Code Assistant view in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit by using one of the following methods:
    • Select Window > Show view > Other > watsonxCodeAssistant > Chat and click Open.

    • Select the Open Chat View icon in the toolbar.

    The watsonx Code Assistant view is shown with the heading "Welcome, let's get started!"

  2. Read the information under the heading "Explore what you can do" to understand the capabilities of the function.
