Importing and Exporting resources in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit

When you are developing integration solutions, you can import resources into your workspace in the IBM® App Connect Enterprise Toolkit. You can also export resources from your workspace in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit to use them in other projects.

About this task

Resources can be imported from a BAR file, or a project interchange file, exported to a project interchange file, or added to a BAR file.

Import or export resources in your workspace in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit by completing the steps in one of the following tasks:

• Importing resources from a project interchange file: If you have a project interchange file for an existing integration solution, you can import the project for that solution into your IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.
• Exporting resources to a project interchange file: If you have resources in your workspace in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit, you can export them to a project interchange file.
• Importing resources from a BAR file: You can retrieve deployed artifacts from a BAR file and import them into your workspace in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.
• Adding resources to a BAR file: You can add any deployable resources from the workspace in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit to a BAR file.
