Installing the IBM App Connect Operator by using a Helm chart

The Helm chart packages the Kubernetes resources, provides configuration options, references the Docker images for the software packages, and includes templates, and other metadata that are needed to deploy the Operator.

To obtain the Helm chart, you can download it from the IBM Charts Helm Repository and reference the chart locally. You can also add the IBM repository to your local Helm chart repository list and reference the chart remotely. The method that you use determines whether you can use the chart in an online or an air-gapped environment.

After you obtain the Helm chart, you can install it by specifying a set of configuration values that define how the Operator is deployed. The default configuration values are defined in a values.yaml that is stored in the chart's directory.
