Installing IBM App Connect without identity and access management (IAM) or with a self-managed Keycloak solution on Red Hat OpenShift

You can install IBM App Connect by independently deploying the IBM App Connect Operator in your Red Hat® OpenShift® cluster and optionally choose to implement identity and access management (IAM) for access control. You can use IAM to control access to the App Connect Designer and App Connect Dashboard instances that App Connect provides by hosting your own self-managed Keycloak solution.

You can also use a managed Keycloak solution, which IBM Cloud Pak for Integration provides, to implement IAM. With this option, you need to install the IBM App Connect Operator as part of an IBM Cloud Pak for Integration deployment.
