Installing IBM License Service and adding annotations for IBM App Connect for Healthcare in containers

If you create your own container for IBM® App Connect Enterprise with IBM App Connect for Healthcare, you must ensure that you comply with the IBM licensing requirements. You must install an IBM License Service operator and add annotations to your container.

About this task

IBM License Service is required for monitoring and measuring license usage of IBM App Connect Enterprise and IBM App Connect for Healthcare in accordance with the pricing rule for containerized environments. You must deploy IBM License Service on all clusters where IBM App Connect Enterprise and IBM App Connect for Healthcare is installed. Use license annotations to track usage based on the limits defined on the container.

Procedure

  1. To install the IBM License Service operator and add annotations for your IBM App Connect Enterprise installation, follow the instructions in Installing IBM License Service and adding annotations for IBM App Connect Enterprise containers in the IBM App Connect Enterprise product documentation.
  2. If you are planning to run message flows that you develop by using IBM App Connect for Healthcare in the container, add the following annotation.
