Installing IBM App Connect for Manufacturing
You can install App Connect for Manufacturing in graphical mode, console mode, or silent mode.
Before you begin
Ensure the following:
- You have installed IBM App Connect Enterprise
Version 13.0 or the later modification
levels.
If App Connect Enterprise is installed in a non-default directory, ensure that there are no spaces in the installation path.
Note: Any further references of App Connect Enterprise version within the IBM App Connect for Manufacturing documentation are made as 13.0.n.0.The n denotes the App Connect Enterprise Modification Pack version.
- You have installed one of the databases if you have opted to use database instead of JSON files
to store your App Connect for Manufacturing data.
- IBM® Db2®
- Oracle Database
- MySQL Community Server
- Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
- The IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit is closed.
- All the integration nodes are stopped.

- UnixLinux You have root administrator privileges, and write permissions to the installation directory.
- Windows You have administrator privileges.
Note: Installing App Connect for Manufacturing does not affect the
installation of other App Connect Enterprise products.
The installation wizard for App Connect for Manufacturing installs the required files.
The uninstallation wizard removes them without affecting other App Connect Enterprise products.
