Message Sets: DateTime component defaults
Default values are assumed if any part of a dateTime element is not present on input.
For example, the formatting string yyyy-MM'T'HH:mm does
not contain any information about day in month (d), seconds (s), or
milliseconds (S). The following table shows the defaults for all dateTime
components.
