IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer overview
You can use IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer to create, test, and export designer flows.
IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer is a browser-based, graphical, no-code interface where business users with no technical expertise can create and test integrations quickly. It is a stand-alone off cloud authoring environment that you can use to create and test flows without using the IBM® App Connect Enterprise Toolkit and without the need for any coding experience.
You can also share your flows by using the built-in export and import functions.
After you develop Designer flows, you can package them and deploy them to IBM App Connect Enterprise integration servers and run them alongside message flows that are developed in the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.
You can start the IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer UI by running the Designer command, or from the Windows Start menu. For more information, see Starting IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer.
After you start IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer the UI opens in your web browser, and you can use it to create, test, and export flows as described in Developing integrations by using IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer.
IBM App Connect Enterprise Designer is not multi-user compatible. If you edit the same flow from multiple locations, changes that are made from one location are not reflected when the flow is viewed from other locations.
