Installing IBM App Connect on Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes environments

You can install the Operator into a Red Hat® OpenShift® cluster or into a Kubernetes environment such as an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster.

After you install the Operator, ensure that License Service is deployed to track the license consumption of App Connect. Also obtain an entitlement key and apply it as a secret to your cluster, to ensure that the Operator can pull the software images that it needs from the IBM Entitled Registry. You can then create the authoring and runtime environments (or instances) that App Connect provides, and the resources that you can use in these environments.
