ace command

Use the ace command to complete tasks that are associated with the installation of IBM® App Connect Enterprise.

You can run the ace command with the following parameters to achieve the results that are listed in the table. You can run the ace command in the following locations:

ace accept license

ace accept license silently

ace accept license disable-anonymous-usage-statistics

ace accept license silently disable-anonymous-usage-statistics

Starts the license acceptance process for IBM App Connect Enterprise.

If you run the command followed by the silently option, the license is accepted without displaying the license dialog.

If you run the command followed by the disable-anonymous-usage-statistics option, the feature that sends anonymous usage data for your IBM App Connect Enterprise installation is turned off.

If you do not specify the disable-anonymous-usage-statistics option, the collection of anonymous usage statistics data is enabled by default. This option is available only when you first run the ace command and accept the license during installation. If the license has already been accepted, you can use the ace remove license command and then accept the license again, specifying the disable-anonymous-usage-statistics option.

Converts from a single-user installation of IBM App Connect Enterprise to a shared installation of IBM App Connect Enterprise. /var/mqsi is created as the new IBM App Connect Enterprise work path directory.

If you do not specify the disable-anonymous-usage-statistics option, the collection of anonymous usage statistics data is enabled by default. This option is available only when you first run the ace command and accept the license during installation. If the license has already been accepted, you can use the ibmint modify installation command to disable the collection of usage statistics.

ace verify node Verifies that integration nodes and integration servers can be created. The following tasks are completed:
  1. An integration node and integration server are created and started.
  2. Information about the integration node and integration server is displayed.
  3. The integration node and integration server are stopped and deleted.

ace verify all Validates the integrity and operation of the IBM App Connect Enterprise installation. The following tasks are completed:
  1. The checksum of each installed file is verified.
  2. An integration node and integration server are created and started.
  3. Information about the integration node and integration server is displayed.
