Accessing the Developer Portal with IBM ID

You can access the Developer Portal with your IBMid log in details when an API Management Catalog is configured using IBMid credentials.

1. Enter your Developer Portal URL into the browser, then click Login.
   You are redirected to the IBMid log in page.
2. Enter your IBMid credentials.
   You are redirected back to the Developer Portal, and are logged in.

3. To log in as an administrator, enter your Developer Portal URL into the browser, then complete one of the following steps:
   • To log in as the admin user, use the Admin Login link.
   • To log in as an IBMid user with administrator permissions use the Login link.

You can create new admin roles and add administrator access to existing roles by completing the following steps while logged in as an administrator:

4. Click People in the Developer Portal administrator dashboard.
5. Select the name of the user that you want to have administrator access and use the Administrator check box to assign administrator permissions to the selected user.
