Installing IBM API Studio

Install IBM API Studio to use the graphical interface for designing, testing, and managing APIs.

1. Log in to API Manager. For information, see Accessing the API Manager user interface.
2. On the API Manager home page, click Download tools in the Get started section.
   The Tools for download window is displayed.
3. In the Tools for download window, click API Studio.
4. In the Download and install IBM API Studio window, select the link corresponding to your operating system to download the file.
5. Extract the downloaded file.
6. Open IBM API Studio from the downloaded package to get started.
   Note:

   • If you are using macOS, before opening the application, open a terminal, navigate to the folder that contains the extracted application, and enter the following command:

     xattr -cr application_name.app

     where application_name.app is the name of the extracted application.

     This command removes attributes that can prevent macOS from opening the application.
