Configuring API Manager connection

Set up a connection in the IBM API Studio to use the API Agent chat interface .

Before you begin

Ensure that the IBM API Studio desktop version is installed.

Note: To use features such as creating and publishing APIs, you must connect IBM API Studio to an API Manager instance. If the connection exists, you do not need to configure it again.

Procedure

  1. Open IBM API Studio desktop version.
  2. On the top right corner of the page, click to open the API Agent chat interface.
  3. Click Configure API Managers.
  4. Click Add API Manager + and enter the following details:
    • Enter a connection name.
    • Enter the API Manager URL.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Enter your username and password, and click Log in.
  7. Click use this link if you are not automatically redirected to IBM API Studio.
  8. To disconnect, edit or deleted the API Manager connection, choose one of the following options:
    1. Disconnect connection - to disconnects from the API Manager.
    2. Edit - To edit the API Manager settings.
    3. Delete - To delete the API Manager configuration.
