Downloading and installing a gateway

IBM® API Connect V10 Reserved deploys with the IBMDataPower API gateway installed. You can deploy additional DataPower API gateways for use with your reserved instance.

About this task

Complete the following steps to download and install the DataPower API Gateway for your environment.

Note: If you have an IBM Passport Advantage contract, you can use IBM Fix Central to download DataPower API Gateway.

Procedure

In API Connect Reserved, click the Download Gateway tile on the administration Home page and then complete the following steps:

  1. In the download box, select your local environment for the Step 1: Download step, and download the package.
  2. For Step 2: Install, select your environment for and follow the linked instructions to install the gateway:
    Note: Set the timezone to UTC on all DataPower installations for use with API Connect.
