You can administer Developer Portal by configuring user account security settings, email notification templates, web hooks, payment gateway, and more.

Security settings
You can specify the security settings to ensure more security for the user accounts.
Specifying user session settings
You can configure the user session settings from the Users page of the Administration section.
Specifying email notification templates
Developer Portal sends email notifications to users on various events by using the default email templates.
Configuring webhooks
Webhooks are used by applications to provide real-time information to other applications. You can create webhooks to notify the specified events to an external application URL. For example, an API is published, or an application is shared.
Configuring webhooks to notify user requests to external approval systems
You can use webhooks to send user sign-up requests and application requests to any external approval system.
Configuring Federated API Management communication
Federated API Management is a centralized control and monitoring system that oversees and manages the entire API management landscape that is deployed across multiple regions, including cloud and on-premises environments. You can connect Developer Portal to Federated API Management to control and manage the performance of Developer Portal effectively through Federated API Management.
Viewing audit log events
You can view a log of audit events and user events from the Events log page.
Configuring payment gateway
Developer Portal supports direct monetization of APIs by allowing you to configure your payment gateway account.
Adding payment details for consumers
You, as an API administrator, can collect the details of API consumers' credit cards for receiving payments for the plan subscriptions that they use.

Configuring access token signature validation
By default, the access token signatures of the request payloads sent to Developer Portal are not validated. You can enable the validation by adding a configuration in the dpo_wrapper.config file.
Restricting the HTTP port access
You can restrict the access of Developer Portal HTTP port only to the system in which the application is installed by using the configurations available in the dpo_wrapper.conf file.
