Upgrades and maintenance
Review the guidelines that IBM follows to notify you in the case of a service outage.
When an API Connect Reserved upgrade or maintenance operation requires a service outage, IBM uses the following guidelines for sending email notifications to customers:
- For planned product upgrades, maintenance, or other administrative operations, IBM follows the IBM Cloud guidelines for change management and provides a week’s notice. You have the option to reschedule the work to a more convenient time.
- For urgent security updates and emergency maintenance, IBM provides as much warning as possible but cannot guarantee a week’s notice. Due to the urgent nature of the update, you cannot reschedule it.
