Managing runtimes in federated API management

Managing runtimes includes viewing, modifying, and removing runtimes from federated API management.

• View runtime details and its associated APIs.
  1. On the Catalog page, click the Runtimes tab.
     A list of all the available runtimes in federated API management appears.
  2. To view runtime details, click the overflow menu and select Details.
  3. Click the Relations tab.
• Edit a runtime.
  1. On the Catalog page, click the Runtimes tab.
  2. To edit a runtime, click the Overflow menu corresponding to the runtime and select Edit.
  3. Modify the required runtime details and click Save.

     The Host field accepts valid URLs, hostnames, and IPv4 and IPv6 address formats.

     The Capacity is the approximate estimate of the throughput that a runtime can handle. You can configure the Capacity value with a nonnegative integer for any of the following units, per second, per minute, per hour, per day, per week, per month, per year.

     A data plane's total capacity is the sum of all of its separate runtime capacities. The aggregate capacity value is displayed on the dashboard and the monitoring screens.

     If the Capacity value is not set or set to 0, the used capacity of the runtime in the dashboard's capacity widget is displayed as 0. For more information on capacity, see Monitoring overall performance of assets in federated API management.

• Delete a runtime.
  1. On the Catalog page, click the Runtimes tab.
  2. To delete a runtime, click the Overflow menu corresponding to the runtime, select Delete , and click Yes, delete runtime.
